I read this short story called “Path Of the Dragon” in 2001 in ‘Years Best Fantasy,” I realized a few months ago that this was a chapter of the Game of Thrones series. I first read about Dany without any context of GoT, and I fell in love with her instantly.
12 years later and I finally got to see what this scene looked like live action.
It was everything I ever imagined.
Yesssss.
I kept telling people to watch GoT because of her like, way in the beginning, and this is basically why. Like this is the culmination of everything you should ever want out of any female character ever, forreal.This. Scene.
I didn’t really like her at first. Boy was I wrong!
